Hi everyone, I’m Erica Park, the Chief Financial Officer of Guardian, and I am in charge of the Accounting Department. I delegate tasks so our department can maintain the financials of the company. We ensure that our company stays afloat and predict the monetary future of our company. We interpret the numbers, organize sales,  and deal with payments such as salaries or bills.
Although there hasn’t been any competitions that the accounting department could compete in, we have been working on getting enough money to start the company, pay bills, and account for our employees’ salaries. We also predict how many sales we need each month in order to be most successful. This sets up a goal for the amount of sales for the company, motivating employees to make more sales at trade shows. After trade shows, we record the sudden large amount of sales we get. Since there is a Financial Statement competition at the LA Trade Show, our department is working diligently to produce good quality work to submit. By understanding the meaning and importance of the financial statements, we hope to be successful at the upcoming trade show.Â
